the Moon is 1 / 4 the size of the Earth. Mars is half the size of the Earth, or twice the size of the moon.
When displaying any objects, if you double the distance the apparent size is halved. (This applies also to ships, mountains or planet)
to display the size of the Moon for Mars should there be 500,000 kilometres of the Earth,
as Mars at its closest ever was more that 30,000,000 miles away (60 X further)
